Treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder with Adderall did change my life to a great extent. The medicine is a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine which are stimulants of the central nervous system worked in a miraculous way in helping to alleviate the attention deficit problems I was undergoing. My life was not the way it is supposed to be now. I was totally a maniac earlier and now, upon taking Adderall, continuously, I not only feel stronger but that I am even able to control my impulses.
Difficult time with ADHD
For months together, I was obsessed with what is called as excessive daytime sleepiness that is caused due to narcolepsy. I would yawn most of the time and would fall asleep anytime of the day though my eyes were open. I started hating this world and for me the world sucked and the reason behind all these was that I was not falling asleep in the night time. I was not able to spend happy time with my family and often ended up in quarrel with kids and my husband and all of these made my day worse. This followed day in and day out. All of this added guilt to my life as I was not being productive.

On a visit to a psychiatrist, I was prescribed for Adderall which is known to be a very powerful ADHD treating medicine. My doctor advised me to take these bright pink pills in the afternoon so that I stay off my sleepiness during the day. What worked as a miracle for me was that I didn’t sleep in the daytime. The drug did far more than to keep me awake. As a result of this I was able to do a lot of household chores, all of which were left undone due to my daytime sleepiness earlier. I was also able to do away with the fear that every ADHD users would be having. The fear that you want to do something but you’re not able to persuade yourself to do it and then you happen to ignore what you want to do. This fear though appears to be mundane and easy becomes an obstacle and could even lead to panic attacks.
Adderall changed it all
All these fears went away with Adderall. I was no more paralyzed to do my daily chores or those activities that I wanted to do. I was able to accept my own personal fears and realized my ability in getting things done. The pill has made things easier for me. My ADHD was now under my control. I started taking the drug twice a day as advised by my physician and I enjoy its benefits all day. Treating my ADHD with Adderall did change my life tremendously and for the good.
